How do I create an account?
Go to happyhearaudio.com and click "Start Free" in the top right corner. Enter your email address and create a password, that's it. No credit card required. Your first event is completely free and includes all features.
What happens after I sign up?
You'll land on your dashboard. From here you can create events, manage your branding, and view all your galleries. The left sidebar has everything you need: Events, Settings, and What's New. Your first event is ready to create right away.
How do I create my first event?
From your dashboard, click "New Event." Give it a name (like your client's name or the wedding name), pick the event date, and choose a player style: Waveform, Vinyl, Cassette, CD, or iPod. Click Create. Your event is now set up and ready for audio.
How do I add audio to my event?
Open your event and look for the Upload Audio section. You can drag and drop audio files directly onto the page, or click to browse your computer. Supported formats are MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, and WebM. Each file can be up to 50MB. There's no limit on how many files you upload per event.
What if my clients are calling in instead of me uploading files?
That's the virtual phone feature. Each event gets a unique 6-digit code on our shared toll-free line, and guests call in to leave their audio message. Go to the Virtual Phone tab inside your event to find the number and code. Guests dial in, enter the event code when prompted, and record their message, it shows up in your dashboard automatically once it's processed.
How do I add a cover image?
Open your event and click Edit (the pencil icon). Scroll to the Cover Image section and upload a photo, JPG, PNG, or WebP. This image appears at the top of the gallery your clients see. A square or landscape photo works best. The image is cropped from the top, so make sure the main subject is in the upper portion.
How do I add my logo to the gallery?
Go to Settings > Branding in the left sidebar. Click Upload Logo and choose your logo file. Once saved, your logo appears on every gallery you create, you don't need to add it event by event. You can also set your brand colors and choose a light or dark background style here.
How do I publish my gallery?
Inside your event, click the Publish button. Your gallery goes live immediately and gets a unique share link. Before publishing, make sure your audio is uploaded and processed (you'll see green checkmarks when each track is ready).
How do I share the gallery with my client?
After publishing, copy the gallery link from your event page. You can send it by text, email, or any messaging app. The link opens directly in the browser, your client doesn't need to download an app or create an account to listen.
Can I preview the gallery before sharing it?
Yes. Once your event is published, click "View Gallery" from the event page to see exactly what your client will see. You can check the player style, cover image, and track order before you share the link.
Can I change the order of the tracks?
Yes. Inside your event, drag and drop the tracks to reorder them. The gallery will reflect the new order immediately.
What does my client see when they open the gallery?
They see a branded audio player with your logo and colors, the cover image, and all the audio messages in order. They can play each message, pause, skip, and see the transcription if AI transcription is enabled. If Guest downloads is on (it is by default), they also get a download button on each message and a Download All button for the whole gallery as a ZIP. Turn Guest downloads off in the Gallery Design Studio and those buttons go away, so they can listen but not save the audio.
What's the difference between Per Event and Monthly?
Per Event is $39 per event, pay as you go, no subscription. Monthly Unlimited is $49/month and covers unlimited events plus the virtual phone call-in feature. Annual is $39/month billed once a year ($468), same as Monthly but with a $120 savings. Every new account also gets one free event to try the platform first.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign up with your email, create your first event, and use it completely free. A credit card is only required when you publish a second event or choose to upgrade to Monthly.
